Endeavour Perpetual Calendar Tutorial
Funky Blue fumé
In the spirit of H. Moser and Cie.’s unconventional approach, a completely opposite path to the brand’s philosophy is taken with the Endeavour Perpetual Calendar Tutorial. The honouring of the simplicity of the Perpetual Calendar movement is playfully conveyed by drawings and notes summarising its ingenious technical specifications.
dive into the technical specifications
The HMC 800 is a uniquely simple and award-winning manual-winding Perpetual Calendar movement, where the calendar mechanism is an integral part of the movement rather than a modular add-on.
Rather than inundate the dial with windows, this perpetual calendar uses a small hand in the centre and the 12 indices to represent the month. Additionally, the date and month can be set forwards or backwards at any time, without risk to the movement.
Involving more than 200 steps to produce, the fumé dial incorporates a sunburst pattern with a gradient colour effect. The colour begins light in the centre, and becomes darker and deeper towards the outer edges.
"It’s actually one of the main reasons I wanted to work for Moser. To me, it’s the best Perpetual Calendar out there."
Andreas Albert, Head of Assembling & Adjustment (Precision Engineering)
